MOSCOW, October 13 (RAPSI) – Former president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych has been summoned for interrogation by the country’s Prosecutor General’s Office as a suspect in one of criminal cases, the statement of the office reads on Friday.
According to subpoena, Yanukovych has to come to an office of the department for investigation into crimes committed by criminal organization. There is no information on what crime ex-president is suspected of.
On September 6, prosecutors notified Yanukovych and Ukraine’s former Minister of Justice Alexander Lavrinovych that they are suspected of unconstitutional grab of power. According to prosecutors, Yanukovych grabbed state power by extending powers of President and by limiting ones of Parliament and Government.
