MOSCOW, November 9 (RAPSI) – The Human Rights Commission of Mongolia has become a fifth member of the Eurasian Ombudsmen Alliance, RAPSI correspondent reports Friday from the alliance session.
Head of the Commission Bambyadorzh Djamsran expressed intent to join the Eurasian alliance and soon afterwards required documents were signed by other members of the organization.
The Eurasian Alliance of Ombudsmen was established in December 2017 by representatives of Russia, Iran, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan in order to ensure cooperation in protection of citizen’s rights. Activities of the organization are apolitical and focused on humanitarian and legal issues.
