MOSCOW, January 17 (RAPSI) – Russia’s communications agency Roskomnadzor has restricted access to information on sales of the so-called laughing gas (hyponitrous oxide) published on 73 websites basing on final judicial decisions, according to the watchdog’s statement.
By now, the prohibited information is removed from 35 Internet resources. Communications providers are continuing blocking 27 webpages whose administration failed to fulfill Roskomnadzor requirements. Notices of blocking have been forwarded to owners and hosting providers of 11 websites.
Earlier, Russia’s consumer rights agency Rospotrebnadzor revealed retail sales of exhilarant gas for use in inappropriate purposes. The watchdog has turned to courts to curb illegal activities.
