MOSCOW, August 13 (RAPSI) – The Federal Antimonopoly Service’s (FAS) Moscow Region directorate has fined Otkritie bank 700,000 rubles (over $10,500) for dissemination of inappropriate advertising, the watchdog’s statement reads.
Earlier, the antimonopoly body received applications from individuals containing information that they had got the ads without their prior consent to it that violates certain provisions with the law on advertising.
Moreover, the watchdog revealed that the bank disseminated financial services ads without indication of all key terms bearing on total costs a person would have to pay if used the promoted loan.
