MOSCOW, October 17 (RAPSI) – The Moscow directorate of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) is considering a case against UniCredit bank over spam advertising banking services, according to a statement of the watchdog.
Messages have been sent with the participation of VimpelCom (Beeline brand) and OSK company, the news release reads.
The watchdog states that the bank has violated the Law on Advertising by distributing ads without customers’ consent.
UniCredit could face a fine of up to 500,000 rubles ($8,000).
