MOSCOW, January 24 (RAPSI) – The Federal Antimonopoly Service’s Moscow Region Directorate (FAS) has fined Uralsib bank 900,000 rubles ($14,500) for spam advertising loans, according to the watchdog’s statement.
Earlier, the FAS directorate found that the bank had violated provisions of the advertising law by distributing messages containing advertisement of loans without consent of customers.
Responsibility for such violations is stipulated by the Code on Administrative Offenses.
