MOSCOW, January 31 (RAPSI) – Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday signed a decree on appointment of ex-Justice Minister Alexander Konovalov to the post of the Presidential Envoy to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, according to a statement released on the Kremlin website.
The order takes effect from the day of its signing.
It is also noted, that Konovalov will enter the presidential commission on prior consideration of federal judgeship nominations.
Alexander Konovalov acted as the Russian Justice Minister from May 2008 to mid-January 2020.
