MOSCOW, May 22 (RAPSI) - Office of the Russian High Commissioner for Human Rights has received 1,113 applications during the coronavirus restrictions period, the press service of the federal ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova reports.

The most part of applications were submitted in the second half of April.

Earlier, Moskalkova’s office opened an initiatve hotline and the number of applications rises at an exponential rate because citizens see that they receive legal and consulting assistance.

According to the ombudsman, explanations were given on 306 complaints; letters were sent to bodies authorized in relation to 677 applications.
