MOSCOW, July 20 (RAPSI) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed an order that sets May 18-22, 2021, as the date for the prestigious Saint-Petersburg International Legal Forum (LF).

This year, the LF was held in online format due to the COVID-19 disease. A special event addressed exclusively the legal aspects of community life amid the pandemic. The forum was attended via video links by Russia’s Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova and the Chairman of the Council of Judges Viсtor Momotov. Due to the fact that the 10th LF was held in the distant format,the LF-2021 is to be marked as an jubilee forum. Earlier, the LF press service informed that registered participants of the 2020 forum have the right for refund of the participation fees or to receive certificates for participation in LF-2021.

The annual St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPBILF) was founded in 2011. It is held under the auspices of Russia’s President and Justice Ministry.

The LF is a leading international platform bringing together judges law experts and officials from different countries for discussing urgent matters of contemporary international community’s concernment, according to the conference’s organizers.
