MOSCOW, February 10 (RAPSI) – Russia’s High Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova during the State Duma Family Committee’s meeting on Wednesday reported reduction in the number of alimony obligations complaints by 40%.

Moskalkova believes that Russian citizens became more responsible as to payment of alimony due to the adjustment of legislative mechanisms. She also drew attention at the work of bailiffs prompting unscrupulous parents to perform their duties.

The Ombudsman also pointed that employers mostly made advances to women with children under the age of three years during the coronavirus quarantine.
