MOSCOW, June 29 (RAPSI) – The Institution o Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights has been granted the highest international status, according to the Federal Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova.
The Russian Ombudsman has been accredited with A status. Such reaccreditation happens twice a decade, she stated.
This international status gives the Ombudsman a right to participate in the meetings of the United Nations Organization (UN), Moskalkova added.
The Institution o Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights has an extensive route plan for developing of international cooperation and national law concerning human rights and freedoms as well as strengthening of human rights guarantees in Russia, she pointed.
