MOSCOW, July 12 (RAPSI) – The Civic Chambers of Russia, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics concluded a cooperation agreement during a plenary session of the Community Forum on Tuesday in the town of Lipetsk.

The memorandum was signed by the secretary of the Russian body Lydia Mikheyeva, Chair of the LPR Civic Chamber Alexey Karyakin and head of the DPR Civic Chamber Alexander Kofman. 

The document will help the parties ensure democratic principles of the civil society’s development, give an extra push for the sustained development of public control institutions and guarantee cooperation on the protection of human rights and freedoms of citizens, NGOs and public associations.
