MOSCOW, September 12 (RAPSI) — A commission on rehabilitation of the victims of Ukrainian nationalist ideology, subjected to repression in the territories that have come under the control of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) is to be established in the region.

The respective order was signed this Monday by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

According to the document, the new body’s key mission is the restoration of the violated rights of local residents.

The commission will consider petitions for rehabilitation submitted by the General Prosecutor's Office of the DPR, the Ministry of State Security and the Ministry of Justice, as well as applications submitted directly by persons subjected to repression.

The commission is to include representatives of the Administration of the Head of the DPR, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Supreme Court, the ministries of state security, justice and internal affairs.

The respective order comes into force from the day of its official publication.
