Russian ministry appeals ruling in $16 mln dispute with Crocus Group affiliate

The Financial Ministry has filed an appeal with the Supreme Court challenging the lower court’s ruling to collect about 1.1 billion rubles ($16 million) from several Russian ministries in favor of Crocus International of businessman Aras Agalarov’s Crocus Group.

The Moscow District Commercial Court has upheld the lower court’s ruling to collect about 1.1 billion rubles ($17 million) from the Ministry for Development of Russian Far East in favor of Crocus International of businessman Aras Agalarov’s Crocus Group.
