MOSCOW, September 26, Dmitry Schchitov. A commercial court included an $8.8 million claim filed by VEB, a major state-run bank, against a major lingerie retailer in the list of creditors' claims, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).
VEB is seeking to recover 287.4 million rubles ($8.8 million) from Wild Orchid company, a lingerie retailer, which operates 271 shops in Russia and 37 shops in Ukraine.
The Smolensk Region Commercial Court introduced a supervisory procedure in Wild Orchid company on May 20. Earlier, the company filed an application for its own bankruptcy. The court wil hear the bankruptcy administrator's report on October 26.
