MOSCOW, September 30 - RAPSI, Sergey Feklyunin. A commercial court has registered a Defense Ministry lawsuit against a military equipment manufacturer for $46 million, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).
The lawsuit against Kurganmashzavod was filed on September 29. The hearing has yet to be scheduled.
Earlier, the Kurgan Regional Commercial Court scheduled for October 20 its preliminary hearing of two more ministry lawsuits against the factory for a total of 2.167 billion rubles ($68 million). One of the lawsuits is based on the defendant's failure to perform its obligations under a military hardware delivery contract. Both lawsuits were filed on September 20.
Kurganmashzavod manufactures military equipment and multipurpose utilities construction machines with a carrying capacity of 400, 600, 800 and 1000 kilograms.
