MOSCOW, November 29 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court has registered 40 Bank of Moscow's lawsuits to recover about $296 million from its debtors, the court records say.
The court has yet to schedule its hearings on the statements of claim registered between November 25 and 28.
Specifically, the bank seeks to recover $44.6 million from Gazfinans, $38 million from Transteplostroyservis and $35 million from Dormashkomplex.
The bank is now working on recovering troubled loans provided to companies associated with the former bank managers. The bank has filed more than 80 lawsuits and obtained court awards totaling over $73.2 million.
The Bank of Moscow is one of Russia's largest full-service banks. It also operates four subsidiary banks abroad.
