MOSCOW, December 7 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. The commercial court has postponed until December 26 its hearing of VimpelCom's lawsuit against the tax service, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) reports from the court.

VimpelCom is one of Russia's largest integrated telecommunications services operators offering a wide range of wireless, fixed, and broadband services. Its sole shareholder if Dutch Vimpelcom Ltd.

VimpelCom filed a lawsuit with the Moscow Commercial Court on July 15, 2011 to revoke the Federal Tax Service's decision to charge the company an additional 939.836 million rubles ($30 million) in taxes.

The tax service decided to charge the company additional taxes after the tax authorities held an onsite audit of VimpelCom's activities between 2007 and 2008.
