MOSCOW, March 19 - RAPSI. The Ninth Commercial Court of Appeals has adjourned until April 2 the Moscow United Electric Grid Company's (MOESK) appeal against a court decision to invalidate a $15.76 million fine.
The Moscow Commercial Court refused to satisfy the lawsuit against the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
The company disputed the service's December 9, 2011 ruling. The antimonopoly service fined the plaintiff 460.8 million rubles ($15.76 million) at the time.
The watchdog's commission found that the company violated competition law. According to the watchdog, MOESK infringed the interests of the Liberi company by refusing to sign a contract on a technological connection for the property belonging to the company.
MOESK is Russia's largest distribution grid company serving customers in Moscow and the Moscow region. It is mostly involved in providing services for transferring electricity to customers and also implementing technological connections to electrical grids.
