MOSCOW, January 19 (RAPSI) - Moscow's Presnensky District Court is set to consider a request to split marital assets worth $100 million between Vladimir Potanin, Chief Executive Officer of Norilsk Nickel, the world’s largest nickel and palladium producer, and his ex-wife, Natalia Potanina, her spokesperson Oksana Kosachenko told RAPSI on Monday.
The list of assets was provided by Potanin himself, according to Kosachenko.
Potanina claims that Norilsk Nickel should be on the list as well, according to Kosachenko.
Potanina has no intention to interfere with the business of her husband, but she deserves a decent compensation after over 30 years of marriage, her spokesperson said.
Divorce proceedings are held behind closed doors. The next hearing will take place on February 19. It is expected that Potanin will call a witness who will answer questions concerning the marriage and the marital assets.
