MOSCOW, June 16 (RAPSI, Lyudmila Klenko) – The Supreme Court of Russia will review an appeal filed by Estonia’s resident Arsen Mardaleyshvili, sentenced to eleven years for espionage in a high security penal colony, on June 20, the court’s website reads on Friday.
On April 3, the Moscow City Court found the defendant guilty. The case, marked as “top secret”, was heard behind closed doors.
According to information available to the court, the convict is a person without citizenship who holds status of “Estonia’s non-citizen”.
