MOSCOW, October 16 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court upheld the extension of detention for eleven defendants in the St. Petersburg metro terror attack case, the court’s press office told RAPSI on Monday.
Thus, Dilmurad Muidinov, Sodik Ortikov, Abror Azimov, Akram Azimov, Seyfull Khakimov, Ibragibzhon Ermatov, Shokhista Karimova, Azamzhon Makhmudov, Bakhram Ergashev, Makhamadyusuf Mirzaalimov and Mukhamadyusup Ermatov will remain in jail for another three months.
On April 3, at around 2:40 PM Moscow time, an unknown device exploded in a train between St. Petersburg metro stations Technological Institute and Sennaya Ploshchad. According to the most recent information, 16 people died in the blast, over 50 were wounded.
People allegedly involved in the crime were arrested in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
