MOSCOW, October 26 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court has upheld administrative supervision for Russian opposition politician Sergey Udaltsov previously convicted for organizing mass riots, the press-service of the court has told RAPSI.
In September, the Simonovsky District Court ruled to impose the supervision until August 2021.
In accordance with the court ruling, Udaltsov has to register with the police two times a month, is prohibited from participating in public rallies and demonstrations, forbidden from travelling beyond the Moscow Region’s borders. The ruling has been appealed by the politician.
Authorities have asked the court to make Udaltsov register four times a month, forbid him from leaving Moscow and prohibit him from staying outside of his living place from 10 PM until 6 AM without police oversight.
