MOSCOW, March 19 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Kuntsevsky District Court on Tuesday dismissed a 200,000-ruble ($3,000) compensation claim filed by Glavpiar PR company’s Director Oleg Voronin against Adidas sports giant over controversial Reebok advertisement, the court’s press service told RAPSI.
The also court refused to oblige the defendant to offer a public apology to the plaintiff.
Reebok, a subsidiary of German sports giant Adidas, has released the ads imaging a feminist calling to “change seat from a needle of men’s favouring to men’s face”, Voronin’s lawsuit reads. According to the PR expert, such concepts taint the image of PR and reduce the number of potential customers.
Voronin also claimed that he received emotional distress when he saw the advertisement.
