MOSCOW, June 18 (RAPSI) – The Moscow Commercial Court has recovered 1.4 billion rubles ($22 million) from Anatoly Motylev and two other persons, who had controlled the bank Company of retail lending on a suit filed by the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA), according to court records.
Concurrently, the court has dismissed the DIA’s claim to recover money from three more ex-managers of the bank.
The Central Bank of Russia revoked the license of Company of retail lending in July 2014. In November 2015, the bank was declared bankrupt by court.
Motylev, who currently lives abroad, is a former owner of several Russian banks including Russian Credit, M Bank, AMB B and Tulsky Industrialist. In July 2015, the Central Bank of Russia revoked licenses of the financial organizations.
