MOSCOW, November 14 (RAPSI) – The Investigative Committee is petitioning for detention of Yevgeny Yerzunov involved in a case over murder threats against a judge until January 11, RAPSI was told in the Basmanny District Court’s press service on Thursday.
The defendant stands accused of public calls for assaulting on the judge. He was arrested on November 13 while attempting to depart for Italy from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport.
Earlier, two other men, ex-convict Alexey Veresov and Sergey Polovets were arrested for alleged online calls for extremism and murder threats against a Moscow City Court’s judge. Veresov was placed in detention for two months while Polovets was released on travel restrictions.
