MOSCOW, December 24 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Meshchansky District Court on Tuesday found Yevgeny Yerzunov, guilty of murder threats against a judge and sentenced him to a 110,000-ruble fine ($1,700), RAPSI was told in the court’s press service.
The defendant was released from detention.
Yerzunov was arrested on November 13 while attempting to depart for Italy from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport.
Earlier, two other men, ex-convict Alexey Veresov and Sergey Polovets were arrested for alleged online calls for extremism and murder threats against a Moscow City Court’s judge. Veresov was placed in detention for two months while Polovets was released on travel restrictions.
