MOSCOW, June 1 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Simonovsky District Court is to proceed with a case against a local resident over distribution of a fake about mass recovery of organs from healthy people under the guise of the fight against COVID-19, the press service of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office reports Monday.

The muscovite is charged with public dissemination of knowingly false information on circumstances threatening life and safety of citizens.

According to investigators, the man using one of social networks and YouTube video hosting has publicly distributed video fakes saying about ethnical nature of coronavirus infecting and harvesting of organs from people under the guise of the coronavirus combating in order to further sell them for transplantation.

The case papers read that the defendant has posted the fakes to increase the number of his followers.
