MOSCOW, June 18 (RAPSI) – The Supreme Court of Russia has refused to reconsider a ruling on the seizure of a flat of a daughter of ex-owner of Promsvyazbank Dmitry Ananyev in central Moscow, according to court records.
In May 2019, the Moscow Commercial Court upon an application of the bank seized assets belonging to Dmitry Ananyev and his brother Alexey including 12 land plots, four buildings, two flats, a cottage, seven paintings and five cars as part of a lawsuit over damages recovery amounting to 282.2 billion rubles ($4 billion) from twelve ex-top managers of the bank.
The banker’s daughter as well as several individuals and companies challenged the order, but the Moscow Commercial Court dismissed the appeals in September 2019.
The Central Bank of Russia appointed temporary administration in the bank on December 15, 2017.
