MOSCOW, January 18 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Golovinsky District Court on Monday found mathematics student Azat Miftakhov guilty in a case over the arson of an office of the United Party office and sentenced him to 6 years in penal colony, attorney Svetlana Sidorkina told RAPSI.
Earlier, this term was requested for the defendant by prosecutors.
The young man stood charged with the assault on the party’s office in south Moscow in January 2018.
According to investigators, crime figures broke the premises’ window and threw a firer there. A criminal case was opened over hooliganism. Miftakhov pleads not guilty.
