MOSCOW, July 26 (RAPSI) – Russia's competition watchdog fined Youtube’s owner Google 2 billion roubles (about $34 million) on Tuesday for the lack of transparency, predictability and objectivity in the video sharing platform’s user and content moderation policies.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has found Google guilty of abusing its dominant position in the video hosting market.

Google must pay the fine within two months of it entering into force, the watchdog said in its statement.
