MOSCOW, November 19 (RAPSI) – The State Duma adopted a bill banning the use of Nazi symbols in literature, art and media for educational purposes in the third and final reading on Tuesday, according to a statement of the parliament’s lower house.
The bill stipulates that Nazi symbols may be used in artistic and literature works and media reports if they do not propagate or justify crimes of Fascist Germany.
The document has been submitted to the lower house by a group of lawmakers headed by Deputy Chair of the State Duma Petr Tolstoy and Chair of the State Duma Committee for Culture Yelena Yampolskaya.
