MOSCOW, June 8 (RAPSI) – President of Russia Vladimir Putin on Monday signed a bill on e-learning and state final examination at times of emergencies into law. The document is published on the official website of legal information.
The State Duma adopted the initiative on May 27; the Federation Council approved it on June 2.
The law envisages fine tuning of distance learning under the unique conditions caused by emergencies or epidemics, when it becomes impossible to ensure the continuity of the educational process, the document reads.
The document reads that the use of electronic technologies when traditional studying or examinations are impossible will be applied regardless of restrictions stipulated in the federal educational standards or the list of professions not envisaging only use of distance educational technologies.
Amendments are introduced into the Law on Education.
