MOSCOW, August 24 - RAPSI. The Domodedovo interior department head has been detained on gambling charges, a law enforcement source told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

"Boris Zhukov was detained by the Investigative Committee and the Federal Security Service (FSB)," he said.

Zhukov was detained at the Domodedovo airport upon arriving from the Dominican Republic, where he was vacationing with his family, he said.

RIA Novosti received no official comment from law enforcement officials.
