MOSCOW, October 31 (RAPSI) –Charges have been brought against Vnukovo airport flight supervisor Roman Dunaev in the criminal case over Total CEO’s death, Investigative Committee spokesperson Vladimir Markin told journalists on Friday.
Dunaev was questioned and placed under house arrest, Markin said.
Earlier the day charges were brought against airport engineer Vladimir Ledenev.
On Wednesday, investigators charged 23-years-old air traffic control trainee Svetlana Krivsun.
Air traffic controller Alexander Kruglov was charged on Thursday.
Kruglov and Ledenev were sent to detention center, while Krivsun was placed under house arrest.
All four employees of the airport stand accused of violation of air traffic rules which resulted in death of two and more people. They face up to seven years in prison each.
Total CEO Christophe de Margerie died in the crash of his Falcon private jet on the evening of October 23 at Moscow's airport along with three crew members, all French citizens. The aircraft which was scheduled to depart to Paris hit a snow removal vehicle during takeoff.
Snowplow driver Vladimir Martynenko was sent in pre-trial detention until December 21.
The Interstate Aviation Committee is taking part in the ongoing investigation along with the Investigative Committee which warned mass media against baseless allegations concerning the accident.
