Cannibal Corpse songs banned in Russia

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Ufa ruled on Friday that the translations of lyrics by Cannibal Corpse, a US metal band, be banned from distribution in Russia due to violent content.

Copyright infringement suit over Blur’s Song 2 dismissed

The Moscow Commercial Court has dismissed a lawsuit which was filed by S.B.A. Music Publishing, a subsidiary of Gala Records, against Rostelecom company and the NTV television channel over the alleged infringing copyright for the Blur’s Song 2. S.B.A. Music Publishing sought 4 million rubles (over $130,000) in damages.
