KIEV, September 1 - RAPSI. Yulia Tymoshenko has demanded that the "gas case" materials be read fully in court, RIA Novosti reports from the courtroom.
Tymoshnenkos attorney Yuri Sukhov argued the appeal at a hearing at the Kiev District Court on Thursday.
The attorney said all case materials from the tenth through the twenty second volume must be read in court.
According to Tymoshenko, the judge did not read some of the materials from the seventh volume in full. According to the former prime minister, these materials evidence she is not guilty. In particular, the documents describe the acts of delivery and acceptance of the technical gas.
The Ukrainian Prosecutors Office has charged Tymoshenko with abusing her power by signing gas supply agreements on behalf of Ukraine with Gazprom and Naftogaz in 2009 when she was prime minister. She was arrested on August 5.
Another hearing into the case is being held in Kievs Pechora District Court.
