MOSCOW, April 3 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court has suspended until April 6 its hearing of the Defense Ministry's lawsuit against Adidas over a delay in sports wear delivery.
The case was suspended at the ministry's request which said it might revise its claims.
The plaintiff is seeking to recover fine, penalties and interest amounting to a total of 117.5 million rubles ($4 million) for non-compliance with the contract deadline. The parties entered into the contract in September 2010 pursuant to which Adidas committed to supply tracksuits to the ministry.
Adidas presented its position earlier, but it was not made public. The defendant has declined to comment on the lawsuit until a judgment is passed.
