MOSCOW, July 12 (RAPSI) – Investigators opened a criminal case over distribution of fake information on the use of Russia’s armed forces against opposition figure Ilya Yashin, his attorney Vadim Prokhorov told RAPSI on Wednesday.

Searches are to begin soon at his place of living, the attorney added.

The case details have not been disclosed. Yashin could face up to 15 years in jail if convicted.
