GORKY, January 13 - RAPSI. President Dmitry Medvedev counts on foreign prosecutor's offices to combat organized crime and drug trafficking and return assets received from crimes.
"I hope that this cooperation (with foreign prosecutor's offices) will be more and more substantial in a variety of issues - in issues that have become a challenge to the entire civilized world, such as organized crime, drugs trafficking, and issues related to assets gained in an undue manner," he said at a meeting with the heads of the Prosecutor General's Office and foreign prosecutors on Friday.
Medvedev also expressed his gratitude to foreign prosecutors for assisting their Russian colleagues in criminal cases.
