MOSCOW, December 26 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. A commercial court on Monday postponed until February 6 the hearing of mobile services provider's claim against a $30 million supplementary tax assessment, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com) reports from the courtroom.
The VimpelCom mobile services provider appealed on July 15 to the Moscow Commercial Court against the March 30 decision by the tax service on the provider's tax liability.
VimpelCom is contesting a supplementary tax charge amounting to 939.836 million rubles ($30 million).
The decision was made by the tax inspectorate following the company's on-site tax audit for 2007- 2008.
VimpelCom is a Russian multi-service telecommunications operator. Its sole shareholder is Dutch VimpelCom Ltd.
