MOSCOW, December 11 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court has sentenced an Estonian businessman Raivo Susi to 12 years in a high security penal colony for espionage, the court’s press-service told RAPSI on Monday.
The case classified as “top secret” was reviewed behind closed doors.
According to media reports, Susi was arrested in February 2016 in one of Moscow’s airports. A lawyer representing the businessman said that the events serving as focus for the trial happened between 2004 and 2007. Allegedly, in 1990’s Susi transferred airplanes from Russia to the Western countries.
